About the Program
In Spring of 2008, students from the temperate rainforest of the Pacific Northwest will have the opportunity to connect to conservation issues in the rainforests of Peru. The University of Oregon Environmental Leadership Program (ELP) will work with The CREES Foundation, a Peruvian educational outreach and research institute, to help school-age children from different areas of the globe understand and share about issues of global concern, while exchanging knowledge and wonder of ecosystems very seperate from their own.
